A Shabbat of Music and Food
What better way to celebrate Judaism then through music and food. Cantor Mitch has created a joyous, original program for families in your synagogue, temple or community to embrace and talk about for years to come. On Friday, he prepares recipes from his book to be served the next day. That evening, Cantor Mitch and friends present an enthusiastic and energetic service called Erev Shabbat Live. Then on Saturday, the Oneg Shabbat, everyone gathers for a tasting and presentation of Kosher Cuisine for a New Generation, with foods that appeal especially to a younger kosher cooks and families.
This one of a kind weekend has it all! For more information call 612 590 7380 or email Cantor Mitch at email@example.com.
Erev Shabbat Live
Music has always been a powerful force that has defined our traditions and heritage. Erev Shabbat Live lifts your spirits and soul with song after song. Let it take you away as you sing along, tap your foot, and remember the best moments when you felt in the synagogue.
Kosher Cuisine For a New Generation
Kosher Cuisine For a New Generation offers all of us a unique way to serve and prepare Kosher food. From it’s song pairings to easy to make recipes, this book speaks to the new generation in all of us.
A few years ago, Cantor Mitch brought his Erev Shabbat Live service to CBI. It was so uplifting and original that we still talk about it. I would recommend a weekend of music and food to any congregation. We love his infectious enthusiasm, music and culinary delights.
I also have his cookbook and it is filled with beautiful pictures and easy to follow recipes. My wife, Cynthia just loves it!

When I first heard this service I found myself singing along from the very first beginning. Cantor Mitch has come up with an original idea to blend two major elements of our faith; music and food. This weekend opportunity is filled with song and his book, Kosher Cuisine For A New Generation is perfect for young people wanting to prepare kosher food. My wife, Michelle has tried several of the recipes and we enjoyed them all.

During the short time I worked with Cantor Mitch, it quickly became clear that he is a talented, creative man. His Erev Shabbat Live service is all about congregational participation. Bringing him to your Temple or Synagogue will be the high light of your year! We have his kosher cookbook and my wife, Rhoda and I love the chicken Marcela.
-Rabbi Sylvan Kamins, retired, Stoughton, Massachusetts
While working with Cantor Mitch for over a decade, I watched him develop this creative and inspiring service. We had the Erev Shabbat Live service once a month. Cantor Mitch has now extended his creativity with his usual enthusiasm to his cookbook Kosher Cuisine For A New Generation. This combination of a weekend of music and food is a unique, original idea. I can, without reservation, recommend bringing him to your city for a great experience.
