Banana Bread
Years ago, when I lived in New York, Bubbie would occasionally send me her banana bread. By the time it arrived, it would often be crushed and several days old but it still tasted like home!

  1. 2 eggs
  2. 1 stick butter
  3. 2C chopped nuts
  4. 2C flour
  5. 3 bananas mashed
  6. 1C sugar
  7. 1t baking soda
  8. ½t salt
  9. ½t cinnamon
  1. Grease an 8x8 square pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients
  3. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350 Degrees.
  4. Run a knife around the edge of the pan and place a plate on top.
  5. Flip over.
  6. Then place a cooling rack on top.
  7. Flip over again to cool before slicing.
